Terms of Service

1. Service Provision

WasteWize Ltd ("WasteWize UK") provides waste clearance and disposal services in accordance with Environment Agency regulations and the Environmental Protection Act 1990. All services are subject to the specific terms outlined in your formal quotation.

2. Hazardous & Specialist Materials

We are licensed to handle hazardous waste, including Asbestos, subject to the following conditions:

• Asbestos: Must be identified at the point of quotation. Asbestos must be double-bagged or wrapped in heavy-duty 1000-gauge polythene and sealed according to HSE guidelines prior to collection.
• Documentation: Specialist waste streams will be accompanied by a Hazardous Waste Consignment Note (HWCN) rather than a standard Waste Transfer Note.
• Other Surcharges: Specific items such as upholstered seating (POPs), mattresses, and refrigeration units incur additional disposal fees due to specialist recycling requirements.

3. Prohibited Materials

Unless specifically agreed and quoted for, we cannot collect:

• / Gas Canisters & Cylinders
• / Medical or Clinical Waste
• / Raw Meat, Fish, or Animal By-products
• / Unidentified Liquid Chemicals

4. Quotations & Loading

• Quotes are estimates based on the volume and weight described. If the load exceeds the estimate, we reserve the right to provide an updated on-site price.
• A standard loading window of 30 minutes is included. Delays caused by site access or unprepared waste may result in a waiting time fee of £1.50 per minute.

6. Payment & Cancellation

Payment is due upon completion of the service unless prior credit terms have been established. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled arrival window may be subject to a call-out fee.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
